CoreOpinion is run by a small team, and we read everything that comes in. This page explains the best way to reach us and roughly how long a reply takes.
General enquiries
For questions about the test, feedback on the platform, or anything that does not fit the categories below, email contact@webbitar.com. We aim to reply within two working days.
Corrections and factual disputes
Our party and ideology guides describe real organisations and real people, and the political landscape moves quickly. If you believe something on the site is inaccurate or out of date, we want to hear about it.
Email contact@webbitar.com with the page URL, the specific passage you are disputing, and a source we can check. Corrections that we can verify are usually applied within a week, and we update the page rather than quietly deleting it. If you are writing on behalf of a party or campaign, please say so; it does not change how we assess the claim, but we like to know.
Research and academic use
Researchers occasionally ask about our question design, the framing bias methodology, or aggregate response patterns. We are happy to discuss methodology and will share what we reasonably can. We do not sell or share individual responses, and we cannot provide data that could identify a respondent.
Press
For interviews, commentary, or questions about how the compass is constructed, email contact@webbitar.com with your outlet and deadline in the subject line so we can prioritise it.
Privacy requests
To ask what data we hold about you, or to have a saved result deleted, email contact@webbitar.com from the address associated with the result, or include the result ID from its URL. See our privacy policy for what we store and for how long.
What we cannot help with
We do not offer personalised political advice, we do not tell people how to vote, and we do not verify or endorse third-party sites that reproduce our test. We also cannot recover a result if you did not save it and no longer have the link.
Who we are
CoreOpinion is owned and operated by Webbitar. You can read more about the project, the people behind it, and how it is funded on our about page.
