CoreOpinion is operated by Webbitar. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, who else receives data, and what control you have. It was last reviewed in August 2026.
Taking the test is anonymous
You do not need an account to take any test. We do not ask for your name, and we do not collect location coordinates. While you are answering, your responses are held in your browser rather than sent to us, so an unfinished test never reaches our servers.
Optional demographic data
Before showing your results you may optionally provide age, gender, and nationality. This is saved to our database only if you tick the research consent box. We use it in aggregate for statistical research, polling trends, and calibrating the test. It is not linked to your identity, and ticking the box is never required to see your result.
Saving and sharing a result
If you choose to save a result, you can supply an email address to receive a permanent link. That address is used only to send the link and is stored separately from response data. We do not sell, rent, or share it, and we do not send marketing. Saved results live at a URL containing a random identifier; anyone with that link can view the result, so share it only with people you intend to.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and browser storage in three ways.
Necessary storage. We use your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as your light or dark theme choice and your regional Amazon store, and to hold your answers while a test is in progress. This stays on your device.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how the site performs. It sets cookies and collects usage data including approximate location derived from IP address, device, and browser.
Advertising. We display advertising through Google AdSense. This is how the site stays free.
Advertising and Google
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices in Europe. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you are asked for consent before advertising and analytics cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the consent dialog.

Our books page contains Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, CoreOpinion earns from qualifying purchases. If you follow one of these links, Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. This costs you nothing extra, and it does not influence what we recommend.
Who processes data for us
We rely on a small number of providers: Vercel for hosting and delivery, Supabase for storing saved results, Resend for sending result emails, and Google for analytics and advertising. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EEA or UK you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, or to delete a saved result, email privacy@webbitar.com from the address associated with the result or include the result ID from its URL. We respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
CoreOpinion is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
